Maria’s Sleep Story
It began on the central coast of California, where I founded Sama Ayurveda Spa & Healing in Santa Barbara. Women came to me when they were exhausted, depleted, or seeking rejuvenation. I held them through panchakarma cleanses, rasayana retreats, and Ayurvedic Healing Facials, where plant medicine and marma therapy touched not just their skin, but their spirit.
Again and again, I witnessed this truth: when a woman is truly seen and cared for—when she feels rested, restored, and remembered—she softens. Her beauty awakens. Her soul enlivens. And she returns to her life with a quiet power that changes everything.
But we still live in a culture that glorifies exhaustion. And I realized: no treatment in the world can fully heal a woman who isn’t sleeping.
That was my turning point. My work deepened. Sleep became more than biology—it became a devotional act of self-love. A doorway into healing, intuition, and manifestation.
Today, through the Feminine Sleep Framework™, I guide women back to Real Rest—the kind that restores the nervous system, heals the body, awakens the spark, and makes space for her to shine again. With over 15 years of integrative practice, I blend Ayurveda, feminine energetics, and modern sleep science to help women dismantle exhaustion culture, regulate their energy, and awaken their innate healing power each night.
As a certified Life Coach and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Educator, I have taught over 300 sleep classes online and in-person, hosted retreats, and supported executives, founders, physicians, and creatives in reclaiming their vitality.
